Spring 2009 Evangelistic Campaign
True Devotion

March 30-April 10, 2009: are you truly devoted to Christ?  Let's see.

From March 30 through April 3, we'll be praying three times a day at the church: at 6:00 a.m., 12 noon, and 6:30 p.m.  Join us as often as you will.

On April 4 at 10 a.m., the Soul Winning Across Town (S.W.A.T.) team goes into action, fanning out with the gospel of Jesus Christ to areas surrounding Mount Pilgrim.  Want to come along?  You are MOST welcome to join us.

From April 6-9, our witnessing returns to the street via our street ministry from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, April 7-9, your children can eat, learn, and praise God with us from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. while YOU help us carry the gospel to the world outside of the four walls of the church.

Friday, April 10, the seven last sayings of Jesus on the cross will be preached by the associate ministers at Mount Pilgrim in the sanctuary at 9 a.m.

And the Resurrection (Easter) Parade sets out Saturday, April 11, at 10 a.m. from Mount Zion Baptist Church on Progress Road.  Mount Pilgrim is part of a Scotlandville-area group of churches that celebrates the resurrection of Christ each year by parading through the streets exclaiming that Jesus is Lord!  Make a float, ride with us on one of ours, or come out and catch the candy and other trinkets to remind you of the Savior who gave us eternal life.

Surely with all of these different activities, you can find some way to devote time to Christ at this holy Christian season of the Resurrection observance.  Come out if you're grateful to God -- this means YOU.  See you there!

Evangelistic Report
Fall, 2007

On Saturday, September 22, the faithful went out in search of the Master's lost sheep.  Teams visited several areas surrounding the church, and on Sunday, September 23, we reaped a harvest of SEVEN NEW SOULS.  Praise the Lord!

Seven new converts to Christianity!  The baby Christians are all children, and Pastor Bilberry hopes to baptize them Friday, September 28, along with other new ones we get through this week, once parents and guardians have given their approval.

Help us win more souls ... whenever you can, be a witness and bring someone to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!
